Manjeera Constructions Limited has informed the Exchange, regarding segment reporting in respect of consolidated financial results for the quarter ended 30th June 2014, vide Notes to Accounts in the Unaudited Results for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 (taken on record by the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 14, 2014) as follows: "The Operations of the parent company related to only one segment viz. construction related activitiy and there are no separate reportable segments as per AS-17. However, during the period, the subsidiary company, Manjeera Retail Holdings Pvt. Ltd. ("MRHPL"), decided to retain certain portion of WIP (Manjeera Trinity Mall) as fixed assets and provided the same on lease basis. Accordingly, MRHPL has entered into long-term lease agreements with various parties to provide major portion of Manjeera Trinity Mall (MTM) spaces on operating lease basis. Accordingly, the operation of MRHPL consits of (a) Development and sale of residential, retail and commercial space and (b) leasing and maintenance of commercial spaces" (Source MSE) |
